The Felt Sense - Somatic Meditations by Natalia Rachel

Natalia Rachel

'The Felt Sense' somatic meditations sprung from my Recover Me trauma recovery course.

These somatic meditations are intended to help you safely associate to your body and your 'felt' experience. Many of us walk around disconnected from our bodies and our emotions, either because we have learned this way of living, or because there may be unprocessed or traumatic experiences that are too overwhelming to feel.

This series provides a gentle trauma-informed way to start listening to the story of the body being safely connected to your experiences. Start with 1) Full body presence, to get a sense of where you are in your somatic journey:

Many of us walk around disconnected from our bodies and our emotions, either because we have learned this way of living, or because there may be unprocessed or traumatic experiences that are too overwhelming to feel.

Somatic Therapy…

… is becoming more and more sought out for people recovering from trauma. At our clinic, we have people reaching out every week for support. Watching clients connect deeply to the approach and start to make big shifts towards recovery inspired me to start teaching last year. I've really enjoyed the process and it’s been rewarding to see other practitioners able to support clients using a somatic approach.
