Over the past 1 year plus, I've been journeying with her and some amazing humans to understand more about what it means to be trauma-informed and how to be a safe human, leading with peace and power.
While graduation tends to imply that one is a master, I feel that this is more of a beginning for me.

This journey has taught me so many beautiful lessons I'd like to share with you.
The red is what I used to do and thought was normal, and the green is what I aspire to do more of:
Saying Yes to please others
Saying No to take care of myself
Force your way to get what I want
Surrender and let go and see what unfolds
Keep achieving and hustle, hustle, hustle
Honour my own capacity so I can be more self sustainable
Blaming myself when I make mistakes or struggle
Offering myself compassion because I am only human
Projecting onto others (esp loved ones) when angry, hurt or sad
Sitting with my emotions first, uncomfortable as they are
Making decisions when in threat - fight, freeze or flight
Taking time to regulate, through the body and breath, then responding
Leading by trying to control everyone
Offering others the agency and freedom to co-create
Comparison with others and end up feeling lousy about myself
Recognise my own path and sovereignty (personal power)
So much more to share and process, but for now, I'm graduating feeling very privileged and grateful to have access to the knowledge and tools to live more peacefully, and in sync with who I am.
It takes courage to do the inner work needed to heal; but as we do so, we can show up as safer humans, creating a peaceful ripple effect that is much needed in this world.

I want to take a moment to thank our amazing facilitator and human, Natalia. She held such a safe space so we could bring our true selves into the sessions. She has been through so much and yet shows up everyday wanting so much more for the world.
It was a bittersweet moment as we ended the course cos she is moving back to Australia, but this is not goodbye. We will miss you dearly and look forward to being in your company very soon.
